Is it possible to go abroad with the family?

Traveling has always been a part of our life.

As a child, my parents taught me to travel, a bag on my back and stars in my eyes. I discovered the world by their side, wandering across continents, but I always preferred Asia.

No traditional school: I took my classes in temples, on a guesthouse terrace, or while waiting for the next bus. Between math lessons, I explored small markets, tasted local specialties, or played with other children whose language I didn't understand... but I perceived everything.
That's where I caught the travel bug: Asia as a playground, and travel as a way to grow.

Maxime had never been to Asia before meeting me. It was during our honeymoon in 2017 that we decided to discover Japan together.
We decided to leave the tourist trails to explore the Japanese countryside and... it was love at first sight.
We were captivated by a wild yet lush nature, soothing and isolated. I promise, we are preparing an itinerary for you to get lost in too!

As you can imagine, the return to France was brutal, the blues settled into our daily lives and has never really left us since. That's why, today, as new thirty-somethings, we dare to believe it: a new life in Asia is possible.

And today our heart leans towards Vietnam!

Why now?

New thirty-somethings, we do not want to live with regrets. Maxime dreams of adventure and exploring a new culture, different from European customs. Personally, I aspire to learn a new language and immerse myself back into this life of a wanderer. And we dream of giving the experience I had as a child to our own daughter.

For Vietnam?

But for Maxime and me, this country attracts both of us. It vibrates between tradition and modernity. We are eager to explore new landscapes, between lush peaks and marine horizons.

💌 Bonus: It's the first country I went to after my adoption in Sri Lanka!

When is the departure?

ASAP.
We are giving ourselves 3 years to build this adventure, which includes:

  • Find work on site
  • Looking for housing for our family
  • Explore options for our daughter's school
  • Manage the visas, both for us and for our cats

Steps that we can't wait to share with you, so follow us on this crazy adventure 🇻🇳
